The free fall simulator is aimed at a wide audience, however, take note of the following information.

Anyone over 5 years old and in good physical condition can fly.

Indeed, the free fall simulator is not meant only for professionals.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the flight day.

Some restrictions:

• You must not weigh more than 120 kg

• You must not have heart problems

• You must not be pregnant

• You must not be under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances

• You must not have back, neck or shoulder problems

• If in doubt do not hesitate to contact us!

If you have restricted mobility or are disabled, please do not hesitate contact us so we can adapt to your needs.

What's the maximum speed in the tunnel?

But don’t panic 😄 — most of the time, flights take place between 90 and 130 km/h, even for ProFlyers 🧑‍🚀

The wind speed in the simulator varies according to several factors:

🔹 The person's weight: the heavier you are, the more wind is needed 🌪️

🔹 The type of activity:

– For belly flying (flat), the wind is gentler ☁️

– For dynamic or head-down flying, more power is required 💥⬇️

How do you become an instructor?

What time do I need to arrive?

Please arrive at reception to check in **1 hour before your flight time.**

About 30 minutes before your flight, an instructor will meet you to provide your flight gear and go over flying techniques and safety rules.

Any delay could lead to cancellation, so we build in this buffer time to ensure you have the best and safest experience.

**Here’s how your session will run:**

1.  **1 hour before your flight:** Check-in
2.  **30 minutes before your flight:** Technical briefing, safety instructions, and gearing up
3.  **Flight Time:** Enter the wind tunnel for your flights
4.  **After your flights:** Debriefing, photos, and feedback – plan to be with us for about 2 hours in total

To make the most of your experience, please be sure to arrive at reception 1 hour before your scheduled flight time for check-in.

About 30 minutes before your flight, an instructor will get you geared up and explain the flight techniques and safety rules.

Your safety and well-being are our top priority. Although fainting is extremely rare in indoor skydiving, we have strict protocols in place to ensure a quick and effective response in case of an incident.

What do we do if someone faints?

*   Observation and monitoring: We'll stay by your side to monitor your condition and reassure you.
*   Call for help: If your condition doesn't improve quickly or if persistent symptoms appear, we'll immediately contact the emergency medical services.

What should I wear?

To fully enjoy your indoor skydiving experience, comfortable clothing is key. Something suitable for the activity and the ambient temperature.

Here are our recommendations:

👕 Clothing:

• Comfortable attire: Choose sportswear or casual clothes that allow plenty of freedom of movement. A long-sleeved t-shirt or top, paired with trousers or leggings, is ideal. Avoid clothing that's too baggy or has elements that could come loose (like jewellery, zips, or drawstrings).

• Light layers: The temperature inside the simulator is regulated and comfortable. Opt for lightweight, breathable fabrics like cotton or synthetic blends to stay comfortable throughout your flight.

👟 Shoes:

• Closed, well-fitting shoes: We recommend trainers or sports shoes with laces. Avoid sandals, flip-flops, high heels, or shoes with smooth soles, as they might not offer enough support.

💇 Hair:

• Tied-back hair: For safety and comfort, long hair should be tied in a ponytail, plait, or with a headband. This stops it moving under your helmet and ensures better visibility during the flight.

🎽 What we provide:

• Groups of more than 15 people: Absolutely possible! We'll just split your group into consecutive sessions (max 15 participants per session). That way, everyone gets the best experience in ideal conditions.

Can I take my smartphone/GoPro/camera during my flight?

For safety reasons, you cannot take your own smartphone, GoPro, or other camera into the wind tunnel.

📸 Two fixed cameras are positioned around the wind tunnel to film your flight from different angles.

⚡ A second instructor is dedicated to taking photos, equipped with a camera and flash, to capture your best in-flight expressions.

Can I still fly if I suffer from vertigo?

😊 Good news! There is no feeling of vertigo in the free fall simulator.

Vertigo happens only when our body is directly connected to the Earth's movement — which is not the case inside the simulator.

Is it possible to fly with more than one person in the simulator?

✈️ For safety reasons, your first flight must be solo, accompanied by an instructor.

Once you've mastered the flight techniques, flying with someone else becomes possible!

You will, however, take turns with other people who have booked in the same flight session. This gives you breaks in between your flights.

Ideally, we recommend 10 or 15-minute flight sessions for a ProFlyer.

No, our gift vouchers are not personalised. The recipient can use them freely by entering the unique code when booking on booking.realfly.ch.

Are gift vouchers refundable?

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. However, they can be extended for one additional year for CHF 30 while still valid, and used by anyone.
