RealFly in Sion is Switzerland's first indoor skydiving simulator. Construction began in April 2013 and lasted nearly a year. The building reaches 24 meters high, goes 7 meters underground and houses nearly 30 meters of air circuits.
How it actually works
In recent years, freefall simulators have revolutionized skydiving. The principle is based on a blower system installed in a tunnel that recreates the actual sensation of skydiving. Flights are managed by specially trained instructors.

The tunnel in numbers
The RealFly wind tunnel is one of the largest simulators in the world. Designed for families as well as the highest international competition level.
The glass enclosure
Our wind tunnel offers a generous flight diameter with 5m-high glass walls and a usable height of 14 meters. The tunnel can accommodate up to 4 people simultaneously for professionals.
A lounge overlooking the tunnel
Hungry or just feel like sipping a drink while watching your friends fly? Take a break at the RealFly lounge bar, wrapped right around the glass tunnel. Also available for evening events and private bookings.
RealFly cares for the environment
Our whole team follows simple daily actions to protect the environment.
- All internal correspondence is paperless
- LED lighting with off-hours timers throughout the building
- Strict selective sorting and recycling of all waste
- Printer optimisation (draft mode and standby by default)
- Toner cartridges sent to specialised recycling
